6. Why might the candle surface have small irregularities?
Vegetable waxes may show small variations on the surface during the cooling and solidification process.
These irregularities are natural characteristics of this type of wax and generally do not compromise the quality, fragrance, or performance of the candle.
Care and use
7. How long can a candle remain lit?
It is recommended that a candle does not remain lit for more than 4 consecutive hours.
Adhering to this period contributes to safer use, helping to prevent the container from overheating and to preserve the quality of the candle.
8. Is it necessary to trim the wick before each use?
Yes. Before each use, it is recommended that the wick be trimmed to approximately 5 to 6 mm in length.
This procedure contributes to a more stable flame, even combustion, and less smoke formation.
9. How to prevent the candle from burning unevenly?
On the first use, it is recommended that the candle remains lit for the time necessary for the top layer of wax to melt evenly, ideally reaching close to the edges of the container, without exceeding 4 consecutive hours.
This procedure helps to prevent tunneling in the center of the candle, allowing for more efficient wax usage.
10. What are the main safety precautions during use?
To ensure safe use, the following recommendations must be respected:
- Never leave a lit candle unattended.
- Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
- Place candles on stable, heat-resistant surfaces.
